What is a Future Ready Center?

Future Ready Centers are centralized locations that provide access to Future Ready Institute programs for students from multiple high schools. These centers provide students with access to specialized educational opportunities in career-focused pathways, equipping them with industry-relevant knowledge and skills while fostering transformational experiences that shape their future aspirations and capabilities.

While participating in programs at the Future Ready Centers, students are enrolled in their zoned high school. Students spend half of their school day at their zone school and half at the Future Ready Center. Students remain connected to their local school communities, taking classes at their zoned high school and continuing to engage in their zoned high school activities such as athletics, clubs, and other extracurriculars.

At Future Ready Centers, students select pathways that align with their personal interests and aptitudes, offering a personalized educational journey tailored to their unique talents and career goals. These pathways often include fields such as healthcare, advanced manufacturing, information technology, engineering, and other high-demand industries. Through immersive learning opportunities like project-based challenges, internships, and collaborative experiences with industry leaders, students gain hands-on experience and build critical skills that empower them to excel in both post-secondary education and the workforce.

By combining cutting-edge facilities, expert instructors, and robust industry partnerships, Future Ready Centers aim to deliver not just education but life-changing, transformational experiences that inspire students to achieve their full potential and become leaders in their chosen fields.

Student Application Process

During their 8th-grade year, students destined for high schools partnered with a Future Ready Center have the exciting opportunity to visit their respective center and apply for a spot in the career pathway that aligns with their interests and aspirations.

In cases where the number of applicants exceeds the available seats for a particular program, a blind lottery process will be conducted to ensure a fair selection of students. Those not selected through the lottery will have the option to explore their second-choice pathway, pending availability. This process ensures that every student has access to meaningful opportunities tailored to their future goals.

Interested students or parents can request an application by contacting:
