One of today’s #HCSco2020 Senior Spotlights is Caleb Fisher, a senior at Ooltewah High School. Caleb is Salutatorian of his class and an International Baccalaureate Diploma student. He is also the leader of the HOO Club Outdoor Classroom and Owl Sanctuary Committee. During his time at OHS, he researched an application of the sieve in functional programming through the IB program and led an initiative for water bottle filling stations and received a $1,000 grant from Arch Plastics. Caleb is currently an intern with Hamilton County Schools’ Human Resources team and is an active member of his church, including a mission trip to Mexico where he helped construct an addition to the church and led Bible study programs for children.
After graduation, Caleb plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Knoxville to double major in electrical engineering and mathematics.
